Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Global Dividend Income Fund Annual Meeting Of Shareholders – Press Releases

BOSTON, Aug. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ – At a meeting held today, shareholders of Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Global Dividend Income Fund (the “Fund”) (NYSE: ETG), a closed-end investment company, voted to elect Ronald A. Pearlman, Helen Frame Peters and Ralph F. Verni as Class III Trustees of the Fund, each for a three-year term, as well as Scott E. Eston as Class I Trustee for a one year term and Harriett Tee Taggart as Class II Trustee for a two year term. The Fund's remaining Class I and Class II Trustees, who serve staggered terms, were not up for election and remain in office.
